Jazz remains our connection with the Here and Now, in dance as well as music. Academy dancers are encouraged to develop their technical skill in this contemporary and highly exciting dance form, building on the fundamentals of ballet for placement, stability, and line. Jazz classes are eclectic in style, drawing on the background of the individual teacher.
